Fumiko Miyagawa was the Japanese daughter of Sun Yat-sen who is considered to be one of the greatest leaders of modern China and served as its provisional first president.
The garment was tailored in a Japanese pattern at the very same Hotel at Nanjing Road in 2017 where Sun Yat-sen stayed about hundred years earlier. Later the building was occupied by the Japanese military, some years after Sun Yat-sen held there a conference regarding the possible future of China.
